About The Founder
Dr.Shiju Augustine (M.D.S)
Director - Surabhi Dental (Orthodontist & Implantologist)
Dr. Shiju Augustine is a renowned orthodontist and the visionary behind Surabhi Dental Clinic. With over 26 years in the field, he is a dedicated innovator in orthodontics. Dr. Shiju completed his BDS at MG University in 2000 and his MDS in Orthodontics from Rajiv Gandhi University in 2005. He served as a consultant orthodontist at multiple clinics across Kerala, including Lakeshore Hospital, before founding his own practice.
Today, he is a trusted name, having treated over 7,000 to 8,000 orthodontic patients. While his heart lies in orthodontics—mastering straight-wire braces, self-ligating braces, and aligners like Invisalign—he expanded his expertise with a focus on implantology, earning both ICOI Fellowship and Mastership in Implantology. Dr. Shiju is also a respected former consultant across Kerala and a senior lecturer at Indira Gandhi Institute of Dental Sciences and EduCare Dental College. His drive for excellence keeps him on the cutting edge—he regularly attends global courses and is a life member of the Indian Orthodontic Society, a member of the World Federation of Orthodontists, and a member of ICOI (International Congress of Implantologists). He is part of the Kochi Orthodontic Study Group, a member of the Indian Dental Association, and a past president of Angamaly Heritage Rotary Club. As a social media influencer in dentistry, he shares his passion and expertise, ensuring every patient receives the most advanced and personalized care.
